VFSL is a vibrating fork switch for liquids, including free-flowing liquids, slurries, and viscous liquids. VFSS is designed for solid applications, including powders and granules.

2.How does a Vibrating Fork Level Switch work?

The fork vibrates at its natural frequency through a piezoelectric crystal. When covered by the process medium, the vibration frequency changes. The electronics detect this change and switch the output relay accordingly.

Vibrating fork switches are used in liquid applications such as storage tanks, chemical vessels, water treatment plants, food and beverage tanks, and pharmaceutical processes. For solid applications, they are used in powder, cement, polymer powder, grain, and sugar silos.
